Dishonored on the Tabletop Recommendations

I just wanted to stop by and pimp one of my favorite RPG publishers, "Pelgrane Press."

I don't know if it's been discussed here, but the lavish Lovecraftian themes and the menacing mythos of the world of "Dishonored" seemd absolutely ripe for more adventures - and what better way than on the tabletop? Traditional RPGs are an undying passion of mine, and i'm of the opinion that the settings of Dunwall, the Isles, and Pandyssia are ripe for more adventures.

For those of you who aren't terribly versed in tabletop RPGs like "FATE Core" or "Trail of Cthulhu," I recommend taking a look at "The Escapist." There's a lovely section an 'What is a tabletop RPG?'

Anyway, for anyone else out there who's wanted to run a tabletop game (be it D&D or my personal recommendation, Trail/Call of Cthulhu) I've got one supplement in particular for you to inspire and enlighten.

"Arkham Detective Tales" ( I can't share a link, it would seem, but if you are interested it's simply look up "Arkham Detective Tales") is a series of 4 adventures set in New York. Cultists, murderers, creatures in the sea, otherworldly powers... sounds perfect for Dunwall! It's written for "Trail of Cthulhu," but the rules and ideas are cool enough that you could run it in any system of your choosing.

Take a look! In fact, there are a million awesome Trail/Call of Cthulhu adventures, all of which rely on menacing cities, dark worlds, and would fit right in with the 'investigate-then-act' feeling of "Dishonored"... but a list of good ones could take up a whole forum.

So, to all my fellow tabletop fans, have fun and good luck! And make sure to tell us if you do manage to fit Clavering Boulevard into your next tabletop game.
