I remeber long time ago playing daggerfall, where towns where empty at night with just a few guards patrolling the area. This was a time for thieves and burglars and there where even a lot of quests hiring thieves to steal things.

Most fun was it when the whole city guard gotballarmed and started chasing the thief or murderer trough the streets and over the roofs of town.

In the end, however criminals that got identified to many times, got bad faction with guards and where KOS in that particular town, even during day time..



Actually i hope to find some of these quests and moments in the game...

They have said theres more guards during nights, but how dynamic towns really are we dont know. Also they have said theres special events during nights too.
