So, my teacher told me this some time ago. He had articles and everything about it that he showed the class.

He once mentioned an island that was made contact with a very long time ago. The inhabitants spoke no identifiable language, wore strange close, and generally could not be recognized as any known culture. They all had blond hair and blue eyes (I think). The island and all her inhabitants were killed off by whoever made contact with them. I want to say it was Napoleon, but it could very well have been an ancient Greek...or was it the Nazis? What was the island called, or has anyone else heard of this?

I know I don't give very good details, but this is all I could remember. And Google has yet to yield any helpful results. Also, the teacher is retired now and I have no idea where he went.
