Crowns and Forebears

I'm a huge Redguard fan and am very excited to finally see Hammerfell in an Elder Scrolls game. Of course the http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Redguard#Forebears_and_Crowns are a huge part of the history of Hammerfell. And I was wondering how they will be handled in the game.

Will we be able to side with either faction? I can't help but think that they will be a huge part of the Hammerfell storyline(If there is any).

And just for fun, I included a poll.

IMO, I cannot see this being an a choice in ESO as it already has 3 factions and all the guilds (maybe as a guild-like thing, but probably not). it also does not seem to be an important part of the lore, or at least it is not mentioned all that much by the redguards in any of the recent games. Maybe i am just not paying enough attention though.

Then again, none of the recent games have taken place in Hammerfell and there's been a lack of Redguard characters who were actually involved with Hammerfell politics.

Basically, this is the perfect chance to really introduce them to the series.

well, considering they retconned Cyrodiil into being what it is like in oblivion instead of what it was like in Arena (tropical rainforested area), I do not expect them to use something that small in the game

It will definitely be interesting to see how big a role the different socio political factions within an area will play. For instance, in the Morrowind region, how much will the stories be related to the great houses? Will you be able to go on quests and gain rep for all three? Or will you be forced to pick a side (like in TES III).

I just hope that they don't try and push them to the background. The political and social rivalries are very interesting in TES, it would be a shame to not let them play a big part here.
