Platforms and Servers

Post » Tue Aug 20, 2013 12:52 pm

Ok so this may sound like a stupid question, but will there be different servers for each platform ESO is being played on? IE will PS4 have it's own server that only other PS4 players can play on and so forth for the other platforms (xbox, pc, mac [lol] ).

In addition, if ESO is played on PS4, can only the handheld controller be used or will there be a way to set up a keyboard and mouse to use like a PC interface?

Thanks in advance for your response :-)

Yes there will be separate servers.

They haven't said if you could or couldn't.

You should be able to use a controller. In the Quakecon footage it showed that he had a controller sitting next to him.

I think you guys missed his question. Obviously a controller will be used for the consoles, the question is whether or not a console player can use a mouse/keyboard set up.

As far as I know, no details have been released regarding that. Honestly i'm going to guess it's a no, as it would give a big advantage to the players with the keyboard/mouse. This is one reason why the servers are separated to begin with, because PC players would demolish console players if they all played together.
