Its really hard to talk about a movie no one else has seen yet (ok not no one else has seen but a very small amount of people have seen) with out saying spoiler after spoiler

so I will just that it was awesome and I would watch it again

it does have its dark moments like when Kick Ass gets beat up but there are darker ones which I wont say due to being major plot spoilers and no one wants those (except people who won't watch the movie in the first place) but there is also a brief moment of comedy in those moments too so it doesn't get super serious

Your review told me more about the movie than the one on the Ebert website :P. I might watch it when it's up for rental, didn't see the first one.

Heard it was pretty meh and was no where close to living up to the first.

Not surprising, the lack of Nicolas Cage and an 11 year old girl killing criminals was pretty much the highlight of the first IMO.

I thought i was better than the 1st one personally

probably because the 1st ones story got split from being about reality and then getting thrown right into comic book where the second ne stays in comic book from the start
