Eso a premium service?

Post » Wed Aug 21, 2013 6:35 pm

I have seen two videos now with ZOS devs caliing ESO a premium service this cofirms my worst nightmare ESO will be P2P! :swear: Me and my friends on Xbox live wont pay a sub on top of our xbox live gold. This is really a bad thing for console players and TES fans looks like the Xbox Ones ESO community will be so small and no huge pvp battles. Im sure a lot of people like P2P but i bet 95% of you are not console players who have to pay Gold/PS+ . B2P with DLC was a great business model for consoles and would have worked great on PS4 and XB1 with P2P you will lose a lot of fans on consoles who really wanted to play ESO. If ZOS thinks that this game is worth $180 a year at $15 a month or evan $120 a year at $10 a month so be it i hope they can deliver. If it is like COD ELITE or Battlefield 4 premium season passes for $50 to $60 it will work out . ZOS me and my friends will have to pass on your premium service and wait for Fallout 4 :fallout: and TES 6 :tes: I love Bethesda game studios.

I can see how that starts to become expensive, but as a PC player i am very happy with P2P, sorry i know this is not a constructive post, but just my 2 cents on P2P

it doesn't confirm anything. mmo's are a service, in that they get updated and patched all the time. if the devs want to describe it as "premium" so be it.

Remember those people yesterday and the day before with full faith that it would be F2P or other? Hahahah!

This is pretty great news.

I am a PS4 owner (on paper) and I aim willing to pay both PS+ and ESO's pay-to-play model.

It is honestly a hassle but its the price I'm willing to pay to play (). I will pay the yearly fee and keep it moving.

Well, i would never consider playing an MMO on a console... so I don't really know how you feel. But I will say do not blame ZOS for this, blame Microsoft and Sony for charging just to play online!

ESO will be a great game, so either svck it up and pay the sub. Either way you are already paying for xbox live so this really has nothing to do with console vs PC. Unless you would be buying xbox live just for ESO, which in that case again I would just recommend playing it on the PC.
