Buying a console copy of the game that included a PC key and being able to log in from either on one account.

I see how this is awesome for everyone save the ones who have to deal with the resulting extra trouble :D.

So...You want two copies of the game for the price of one? It sounds like you're asking for two copies for the price of one.

While I have zero issues with one account being able to access the megaservers of any/all platforms, the license fee for the console versions (the reason why console games are typically more expensive than PC versions) doesn't justify the distribution of a second copy of the game, even if it were digital--the lower distribution overhead doesn't cover the development costs until after the game is operating in the black. At that point though, it's eating into their profits, and companies tend to like their profits.

He's asking for one account to access any of the servers. He'd still have to play on a PC/Mac to access those ones.

Being able to play on both with the same account would be nice. But i doubt it will happen anytime in the near future.

But how would you play the same character when each platform has its own server?
