It seems that the new elder scrolls online mmo rpg game will have a monthly subscription fee for $14.99 dollars a month.

What I would like to know is since most likely I will be playing the game on both my PC as well as on xbox one and will I have to the same subscription fee for both.

I am looking forward to the game but really hope that I do not have to give them $30 dollars a month and would prefer only playing $14.99 and have an account for both on the console and pc to get the game updates and future expansions/content.

I am also really surprised that they choose a subscription model and charge a monthly fee. Being that the free to play model what is preferred by the players who play these games I hope that they will also make the transition to free to play after the launch.

Has anybody heard anything from the developers on this?

Consoles have to pay $5 to play call of duty, I don't on my PC.

How is this any different?

You will have to pay for both accounts, unless they do a power of two like CCP does for Eve online where you get a discount for extra accounts on the same card and email.

Free to play and buy to play models are only prefered by cheap skates who refuse to pay for a service.
