Despite the Ebonheart Pact using the dragon as their symbol, will the symbol of the Kingdom of Daggerfall (the kingdom, not the Covenant) still be the Red Dragon? I doubt it, there's a thousand years between Daggerfall and TESO.

From all the pictures I can find, the insignia is a silver lion on a blue background. This is most likely the faction symbol, but I believe the game will not use regional symbols for cities, instead opting for faction representation.

Well the fact that the Bretons are a whole bunch of small kingdoms fighting each other(I blame the poor elven genes) would result in the ruling family being changed a lot. You never know.

The lion is both the faction and the kingdom symbol. It's probably been donned by king emeric based on some personal/family emblem.

If you view the alliances page on the TESO website, it will show the overall faction logo (which also belongs to one of the individual races) as well as each of the race logos. For example, the overall faction logo for the Aldmeri Dominion is the eagle - which is also the logo for the high elves. However, the Khajiit logo is three crescent moons.

Emeric is king of Wayrest, Lynx, not Daggerfall - each kingdom has their seperate royal family.
