Is a big reason why I think they are having a p2p system in place. Do you people realize what it cost to run a normal server?? This is a mega server that I believe is new to MMORPG games. It probably cost a fortune to run.

I know the p2p topic is being talked about allot here, but 1999 EQ was p2p and nobody back then whined and complained about that. Its very simple, if you don't like the p2p system that there putting into place then don't play the game. OMG what a simple idea I just came up with,LOL(sarcasm).

STO and DCUO use a megaserver, and NEverwinter is going to eventually combine all three servers into a megaserver soon.

well .. I will admit that the idea that we can be placed within our gamestyle, and tastes, and preference choices is very appealing. but, I thought it was said by some one here on the forums that this isn't really working well, and that it was scraqed.

Yes sadly the questionnaire was scrapped, but we will still be grouped with our guildmates etc.

So my hope is that if you join multiple guilds that are built around your playstyle (PvP, RP whatever) then by virtue of keeping you with your friends/guildmates etc (who hopefully have joined yet more RP guilds etc) then certain instances will be packed with RPers etc.

I wonder the relics will work with the megaserver? I mean is it per campaign? Is it possible fora group in a dungeon to be recieving different bonuses because they each belong to a different campaign? Cause that seems a bit silly.
