In any game you've played what was your personal favorite side quest? For me it would have to be the side quest in Red Dead Redemption, where you collect flowers for this guys wife an later learn that his wife (Spoiler!)
has been dead for quite a while and hes actually crazy.

Getting 100% on Synthesis in Kingdom Hearts 2, yes this is considered a side quest......sorta
