but perform terribly with school work/homework?

I find myself performing exceedingly well at tests but when it comes homework I'm quite lazy about it. I think the problem is that I find myself more and more disinterested in performing school work.

Yes. I hardly ever did homework, I just kept my grades up with my test scores.

In highschool I often skipped lots of homework. At university my interest in such things have been revitalized since you can't immediately figure out what to do on the exams unless you've spent copious amounts of time studying the material you're assigned to study.

My English class in high school gave out homework everyday and every weekend. That's what I get for overachieving.

if it wasn't for my 95-100% on every test I took in highschool, I wouldn't have graduated. I didn't even do my term paper in 11th grade, and gave the bare minimum 5 pages in my senior year. Regular homework? HAH.

I was the same in Highschool. Gets a point in Uni where you need to do the work and reading to continue getting As.

Unless your definition of good is a "C".
