Invisible Collision issue

Post » Tue Aug 27, 2013 8:46 am

In my Mod I am using wrcastlestonetower01porchint.nif as part of the exterior structure of my tower. It's the same piece used in Dragon' Reach, where you fight the Dragon late in the MQ. The problem is, it seems to have a collision mesh above the actual mesh-- it's impossible for my PC to jump through/over the ramparts no matter how high they seem to be jumping...

So, I loaded the Mesh up in NifSkope, and I can't see ANY collision mesh? It's there in the list of Nodes(?) but when I click it, nothing is highlighted, and there's no indication of a collision mesh being there?

Could anyone help with this?

the bhkCompressedMeshShape Collision (as it is used in most static Nifs) in a Skyrim Nif is not visible in Nifskope. But you can make it visible in the CK, with the F4 button. You will see that the collision extends above the solid mesh, as it is the case in almost all of Whiteruns outer architecture and walls, thus making it impossible to jump over the walls.

Edit:

If you want, I can send you a nif with the "invisible" collision above the ramparts removed.
