Today I just bought the awakening version of dragon age and put the disc in to play, but instead it says it needs the game data. Now the game is in my ps3 game folder and am pretty sure that the game data is there as well since well the entire game is in there. So anyone know how to deal with this annoying issue?

Awakening is not a "version",

its an "expansion pack", as such it requires you to have installed the base-game "Dragon Age: origins"..
