House not beeing built.

Post » Fri Aug 30, 2013 1:57 pm

I bought hearthfire, and went to morthal, bought a homestead, and I started building it, I built the first phase, and nothing appeared, then some (a lot) time later, I built a garden, and the garden was built, but the house wasnt beeing built...

I have no mods installed, just dawnward, hearthfire and dragonborn DLCs

I am having so many problems with the DLCs... only dragonborn is the only one that havent failed (yet... I havent touched it much)

Also I know it is something known and that happends a lot... because I have seen other threads, but idk if there is a fix or something, because the threads are old.

One thing about Hearthfire, make saves before you make changes to your house, as there is no way to undo them. That way, if you don't like it, you can reload.

Now, I have never had an issue with HF not building a house, and this was on a game patched only to HF (no 1.9 patch). So, load your save from before you started the house and try again, as it might just be a glitch.

Loading an earlier save is probably the only thing you can do as troublesome as it is. I do suggest you install the Unofficial Patches though.

you don't have any mods installed so I would recommend to install all the Unofficial Patches....

Running a game on saves that far apart is just asking for trouble. :)

The number one way to recover from a quest glitch is to load a save from before you started it. The few things that broke on me when playing were resolved by loading an earlier save.
