As we all know, the game is coming to XB1 and PS4, and each respective console will have its own server (Which I'm glad for). What I'm wondering, is if you'll be able to switch platforms without having to start a new character? Say for example you get to level 50 on XB1 but decide the community is too immature or casual or you just want to switch platform for whatever reason, will you be able to transfer your character?

They haven't said, but I kind of doubt it. The only thing we know as far as changing megaservers is for the NA and EU ones, where a player can choose between them (and switch), but no mention of whether or not characters stay on their megaserver.

Some people think that the real reason the consoles aren't cross platform is because MS and Sony don't want to play nice with each other on this one, and don't want their customers mingling.
