First of all this doesn't need to be a discussion of anything political. Just whether or not you take interest in it.

Currently Australia is going through an election and I have been following it pretty closely, but no one I know seems to have any interest at all in it, which I can understand.

Does anyone else take interest in politics?

Enjoy? No, but that is not the same thing as taking an interest.

Definitely don't enjoy politics. I keep an eye on things that affect me and that's about it.

I don't like politics even though everything in our lives is interwoven with politics. Btw, this thread isn't going to reach too far. Nothing wrong with your topic, but politic talk in every shape and form, is never going to be digested well by the people in these forums.

Nope, not at all. Not my thing. I get frustrated with people I know in real life, politics is something I don't have patience for. I would much rather solve a problem one way or the other, and when I do I often get in trouble. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lWonDuoXXEU

Here in the US, media coverage has become so vitriolic that unless you lean far one way or rhe other, it's hard to stomach.

Though, some of the books I'm reading as of late have a lot of fictional politicking that can be quite enjorable.

Not all the little day to day things people like to complain and rant about. There's nothing I can do about those things. I'll vote, though.

It's a subject that frequently irritates me, but I don't have a great deal of interest other than that.

Always followed politics and always will, to important to ignore unfortunately.
