... but I can't help wishing the colors weren't white text on a black background. My eyesight isn't the best, or as Esbern would say, "I'm getting too old for this" :-)

If there is a way to change the UI of the forum I would love to learn it.

On the mobile (full version) there is a change theme thing at the bottom.

Don't believe you can change it unless you're on a mobile device, unfortunately. I could be wrong, however.

If you can only change the theme of the site on the mobile version, and your eyesight is truly as bad as you say to a point where the forum is difficult to use, then download an extension for your web browser to run the mobile version.

Clicked change theme at the bottom of the forum page and selected Elegant.

Go down to the bottom of this page and on the left side you will see "Change Theme" right next to the RSS feed symbol and "Mark Community Read" -- click on it and there is a few selections to choose from : IP.Board Mobile, Warrior, Elegant -- IIRC Warrior is the default

Thanks for the suggestion, but the discomfort is not acute enough for me to use the mobile version on my PC. My eyes are not THAT bad (if they were, I couldn't play Skyrim). Lowering the contrast helps a bit.

I would prefer it if the forum veterans just ignored irritating new Civil War (or other dead horse) threads and let the newbies have fun discussing it by themselves. The fact that even the older game Oblivion is still selling on Steam for €24 indicates that the Eldar Scrolls games are still selling strong after several years. Why shouldn't new players have fun discussing the storyline just because the veteran players have already done it? That doesn't make sense to me.
