Confirmed Legandaries?

So what do we know about which legandaries are going to be implemented? I would like to see Dawnfang/Duskfang. For me it was the epciest sword in all elder scrolls universe

I advocate that we do not see any legendary weapons, items or armour in TESO. Deadric items can only have one physical state in the world because they are too powerful to have anymore than that.

So I do not wish to see 100 people all running around with Dawnbreaker or any of the other artifacts from the single player games. I really hope the devs keep to the lore more than they have done and not put in any of these items it would be plain silly to see 100's of players all using the Jabberwook or Mehrunes Razor.

I think these weapons would count more as artifact/relic than legendary. Just a guess, though.

"Legendaries" hmm? Lets just call them Artifacts ok? Legendaries sounds quite unsettling

That dwemer doodad that may well be just scrap is an artifact. The term is too broad to describe the items in question.

Not in Elder Scrolls. Last 2 decades we have been calling juicy unique gear artifacts http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Artifacts

I'd say that legendary weapons can be implemented and they don't necessarily have to be Daedric artifacts. No matter how special a weapon or armor is supposed to be, you will always see thousands of people with it. IMO gameplay outweighs lore in this case because your only other choice is to not introduce any unique items and only have generic ones.

Multiplayer environment has to have compromises. Solution is to have those so rare and so difficult to obtain, that you wouldnt see that many people with them around. Something alont epic questline with both solo and group quests, randomized spawn / drop of the quest starter (so you cannot youtube it), something like that

We surely have a good example how NOT to do it in GW2

wat?

GW2 Legendaries are, in fact, legendary. Difficult to craft, difficult to obtain, and only rarely seen.

I'm fine with ultra rare legendary or w/e you feel the need to call them appearing in game. Endgame raid/adventure zone loot should be amazing
