As in, can you think of anyone that you would classify as a pseudo-intellectual in real life?

Yep, there's a guy my friends and I all know who continuously posts quick quotes from books he's not reading on Facebook.

I think a pseudo-intellectual as sort of a parrot... they repeat what they've heard, or drop facts and figures... but they don't really understand what they're saying, or why it's relevant.

I'm currently contesting most of my pseudo-intellectual beliefs.

I'm in more of a preparation stage than a transition stage at the moment. So right now, I'm still a pseudo-intellectual, though not as adamantly anti-intellectualism as I was.
