I just got £200 quid randomly...

Post » Sat Sep 21, 2013 12:00 am

Okay, a bit odd. I came home today to find in my mail, £200 and a letter. The letter said this:

"I don't need money anymore. It's just paper and metal. You have been chosen as one of 15 random people in the area of (withdrawn). Have a good one mate

S"

Should I do anything?

Go spend it on useless crap... 200 pounds of squid.. And place some in random mailboxes with a letter saying the squid related independence.

"I don't need Calamari anymore. It's just tentacle and ink. You have been chosen as one of 15 random people in the area of (withdrawn). Have a good one mate

S"

Spread the Karma around, do something nice for someone else. Maybe buy a family who is down and out some groceries.

I'd kill for that amount of cash on hup right now, looking at a big collection of laserdiscs that might be gone by payday.

That does sound odd

I'd watch my P's&Q's if I was you, it's not normal to come home to mysterious money left by god knows who.

That being said though.......I'd still spend the money all the same. GTA 5 was just released

Roughly $400.

I would check with the police just In case there is a scam some how going on, or at least to make sure it isn't drug money.

*Cha-Ching* $_$...yeah I could totally use that .

Actually I wouldn't really know what to do if someone put that kind of money in my mailbox...I'd probably call the Police first and see what advise they can give, otherwise I'm considering it a charity.

Can I have the equivalent of $35 so I can buy GTA V?

Kinda joking, but nice job with your luck there. Don't really know what you should do with it, but I mean, it's your money now, so....

This right here is pure win!!

I can't stop laughing.

And oh yeah, that's my 200 quid. I was drunk when I wrote that letter and misplaced it in your mailbox. Please return my 200 quid.

At least this guy was smart and didn't drop it in people's backyards where a random homeless dude could just pick everything up.

Might want to make sure it's not fake, just in case.
