Do you agree?

LOL no. Unless by risks they mean replacing worn cookie cutters with new ones then sure....they could get into a car accident driving to Costco to buy CoD templates in bulk.

I'm no expert to say that they're neccesarily incorrect, but either way, I appreciate risks that are actually tangible and visible when you're playing the game (which is not the case with Call of Duty). The possible fact that they're "taking risks" by showing me random marketing issues means nothing to me. They just seem like words to me regardless of whether or not they're right because I don't see any of those "risks" in the actual game. It's all technical and meta stuff that isn't relevant to the player. I don't want them to reassure me (or themselves) just by saying "No really, this isn't easy", I want to actually see it.

Not to mention that any "risks" at this point aren't risks at all because they won't drop sales. It's not like Activision's games are aimed at a small audience. And the simple "risk" of being unsure if the game is going to sell after all the work put into it is a risk all devs have to take.
