You could offer to clean your neighbours' windows? There appears to be an untapped market for that in some places.

If you have a busking Craigslist in your area, I'd try looking at their "gigs" section and temp work sections. Sometimes someone just needs someone to help them move or go shopping for them.

depends on your patience...

I paid my way through University by buying junk at Yard Sales and then selling the Item on EBay for a Ridiculous profit...
However, doing this can be difficult if you don't have "An Eye for Profit" as we used to call it...

If you know a bit about PCs, go on a website like Kijiji and post an add, people always need someone to fix their machines..

Winter is quickly approaching, so stacking firewood is always a good way to make money for an afternoon..

you can also sell old games or movies you don't play/watch anymore, depending on the game and the area you can make alot of money..

Aside from that, go find a Job (part time or full time)...

If you've got any personal possessions you don't mind parting with, either temporarily or permanently, you could try selling some of them to help alleviate the financial strain. Then there is family, if you've got them, and they're willing to help lend a hand. I would avoid resorting to friends though, that can lead to the end of a friendship if handled poorly. (these is far from an ideal solutions, but when your in need...)

Aside from that, the only way I know how to make money is slowly, and by saving your dollars where you can (pocket change too) I've been saving mine since Skyrim was released, and by the time Fallout 4 is released, I'll have more than enough to build my new pc...on pocket change alone.

What a shame, I had some work lined up for the OP as well. Oh well.

Hey OP, do you know your state/province/kingdoms' recycling laws? I made about 30 bucks in 2 hours picking up pop cans off the road and selling them for like, a dime each. Booze bottles were basically treasure, cashing in at .25 cents. There were no shortages of cans around the highway.

Look for old people in your neighborhood or church. A lot of them would be happy to pay a few bucks for help with yard work, cleaning the garage or basemant, or hauling stuff up to the attic.

I live in Scotland so i'll need to give it a check.

Also to clear up it's not impending doom or anything it's just some extra cash would be handy right now and for the life of me can't get an interview for a job unless it's selling something that'll need to take sooner or later by the looks of things.

So really anything with relative ease that will give me a little financial boost.

Besides selling stuff you own, there's not really any "quick cash" method, and there's definitely no such thing as easy money.

It's a shame how many people fall for pyramid schemes and the like thinking they can make lots of money fast and without doing work.

Sell stuff you don't need anymore. I can't think of anything easier than that.

Don't people sell their sperm or something like that for quick cash? Or is that only in the TV shows?

I'd imagine donating bone marrow would be much more profitable (also a helluva lot more painful)

I used to know people who sold their plasma for quick cash when I was younger. I never did it though, and TBH, I don't even know if it's still done anymore.

No, that's called selling. See my post above regarding plasma.

I made about $400 last week trading Dota 2 items. The problem is that it's all steam wallet money, and cashing it out into real money takes time, and you usually lose about 20%.

Being a sperm donor can be very profitable, but it's not "quick". You have to go through a fairly rigorous screening process, and right away you need to meet criteria like being at least a certain height (5'10ish probably) and have a bachelors degree.

That was depressing.

Good thing I quit playing MMOs a few years ago.
