Okay, excuse me for saying this, but ITS TERRIBLE!
Why would I magically know a door is locked before I interact with it? At the very least, make it so that these icons appear AFTER you interact with said door.
Otherwise it will negatively effect exploration, tension, amongst things.
There should be a limit to where Bethesda is taking this hand-holding... I assure you the everyday Joe gamer will know a door is locked without a huge icon telling him it is.
