Family of "Gamers" and Elder Scrolls Online.

So I have to say, it has been a long stretch with failing games and products that just are not worth your money. That being said, I have played the Elder Scrolls series since Morrowind. When I first played it I was hooked. My brother and my dad we're also hooked. It was around that time that I had moved away and my entire family had split up and moved in different directions. During the years (It's sad I know) this is how our entire family stays connected. We pick a game, we have vent, and we play games together. This how we spend our quality time together as we all live so many miles away.

Lately though we have been brought so far apart because there is absolutely nothing of worth to play out their. Days have turned into weeks, and it was not until then that I realized that ESO could really change all this again for myself and my family.

People have said over gaming media sites that ESO is going to fail and sometimes I see other negative stuff. But let me tell you, Bethesda has heart. They pour everything they have into their games. That is who we need making products like this. People that actually care about what they do.

Thanks a bunch Bethesda,

BTW I have been waiting for multiplayer for years O_O

Just so you know, Zenimax Online are the ones developing the game. Bethesda is just the producer.

They couldn't have done it without Bethesda, but it's not a Bethesda TES game as part of the main traditional series.
(I'm not saying it won't still feel like that good old TES we all love, just pointing out the differences)
:P

I kinda know what the OP means. Games is how I stay connected with a lot of close friends who have moved away. Unfortunately right now we don't play much because everything out there svcks. I cant wait for ESO so that I can play with my friends again.

I don't think this is "sad" at all. I think its a really awesome way to use video games as a medium, a really awesome example of family life in the 21st century, and a really awesome example of how people can remain connected members of a community without living near each other (tell that to Robert Putnam.)

I wish the media would give some coverage to stories like yours rather than constant discussions about how video games breed serial killers (damn you GTA5!!! You started this debate all over again!!!)

I hope you guys find that this game is what you are looking for. From what I've seen so far, I think it will be.
