I don’t know if there is already a topic about this, at last I haven’t found one. Here are just few of my ideas for instanced guild cities.
In order to acquire a land for guild city: the guild will have to pay a good amount of gold, this will restrict people with only like 1-10 guild members have their own land or at last will make it a lot harder get.
There can be different zones where guilds can buy the land for example guilds from Ebonheart Pact will be able to get land in Skyrim, Morrowind or Black Marsh. This will make cities and environment look different.
When players start building city each building must have multiple levels of upgrades. Buildings like blacksmith, mage tower, etc; will add more crafting recipes, auction house will reduce tax % with each level. For average guild it should take more then a couple months to fully build and upgrade their guild city.
This feature will allow guilds and its members work on something together over months. A player city will provide a gathering point center (good role-players) and socializing hub for your guild. Also there are tons of other ideas that they can add like guild alliances (Ex: Guild leader can make an alliance with other guild. There should be a limit on that of course up to 5 guilds per alliance lets say. Players from those allied guilds will be able to visit each other cities; also they can have linked auction house if leaders choose to make trade agreement, etc.)
It doesn’t have to be exactly the way I described because there are tons of ways on how to make this feature awesome. So what do you guys think about having instanced guild cities in ESO?
