So..I just won the lottery..first purchase..PC!

Post » Mon Oct 07, 2013 4:38 am

Well as the title suggest through sheer luck I won the lottery. It wasnt millions, but its a nice chunk of change. Its enough to make me leasurely comfortable! Among other things, I want to buy a high end gaming PC.

I want to build a gaming rig that'll rock socks. 3K US currency is my budget (Im lucky, not stupid) and I want to get the highest end stuff I can.

Note: 3k is not including a mouse keyboard monitor etc. Just the tower and the beef within.

Any suggestions? Build me the greatest pc that 3k can buy!

You can always try http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1474176-new-pc/ http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1474247-help-the-perfect-pc-for-the-perfect-tamriel/ http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1472491-the-community-tech-thread-no-131/--all on the first three pages--as a guide.

You've hit the jackpot twice today. A jackpot of basically identical threads.

That has nothing to do with my question. :P

I'm not asking in someone elses thread, that's their thread. This is mine. :)

Hey there sixy, I'm a dependable guy, and I can keep you barefoot and pregnant(or satisfied, if youre not a female) for decades to come! I swear I don't just want your money!

I think 3k is a bit steep though, whatever you build at that price, surely a computer at even half that price will be relatively the same?

I want this thing to last for a good 3-5 years without a major upgrade (I understand I'll probably upgrade the GPU)

I'm guessing you want this for gaming right? I think an Alienware might be good for you, they start at around $1,000 and you can customized what you want.

I know nothing about building a PC, but I heard that Titan is a nice piece of tech.
