I've been wanting to respec for a while now, next Gen of consoles giving devs more resources means their gunna be trying harder to push PC's further too, right? So I was thinking of going to the highest of high tier, & from what I gather that's the GTX Titan. A few days ago I looked online & I saw AMD's keynote highlights & a review of the known specs of their new R9 280X & the guy on Tom's Hardware said that it would be on par or better than the Titan. I was taken back by this because I think the price is like $400 cheaper than the Titan's & they also have that never settle free games thing. Now I'm pretty sure the guy was making a guess being AMD still has an NDA on the full specs of their R9 & R7 cards. Also being they have that sound processing thing in their new cards can not only sell my old CPU & both graphics cards to offset the cost of my new ones, but I can sell my sound card too which all together might pay most of the expenses off!
Anyone have any input, or info on the R9 280X's true power, or will I be waiting for the NDA to be up?
