First off I got a small question.

Which Goa`uld would you choose to Snog, Marry, Host.

Also if their already isn't another Stargate thread an this stays popular then ill make a new one when this reaches the limit besides that go bonking batty bananas.

Also discuss all 3 shows an even the cartoon if you want.

Didn't like SG-1 until the last few seasons. Only liked the first few seasons of Atlantis. Haven't seen the Infinity thing.

I recently finished re-watching seasons 5-8 with my son, and had a lot of fun. I wish I had Atlantis on DVD, as I enjoyed it as well. I may see if I can pick them up cheap.

Season 9 started off pretty badly, in fact it convinced me to finally watch Farscape just so I'd know whether Mitchell was so awful because of Browder or the way he was written (Quite enjoyed most of Farscape). I eventually came back around to SG-1 as things started to fall back into place . . . just in time for the series to be canceled and the last half of the season to wrapped things up too quickly because they'd run out of time. A disappointing end to a fun series.

I didn't really watch SGU. Around episode 11 or 12 I realized I wasn't even paying attention to the episode, and quit watching. I realize things had gotten a bit repetition with SG-1 and Atlantis (and not just the tongue-in-cheek "even more anchient even more evil" escalation of antagonists); and did understand that a new Stargate series would need to do things differently, but I didn't care about a single one of those characters.

none of them, you can't really do much with a Goa'uld except keep it in a fish bowl.

Loved the SG series, Atlantis was my semi-favorite until the constant representation of pale skined ancients that varied from forced attempt at being enigmatic to being no different than humans in terms of persona, not to mention being predominantly white(yes there are a few darker tones shown), no racism intended (lawl how could that be "checks skin colour")

kinda svcked that there wasn't that much of a development to the ORI and Wraith compared to the Goa'uld, the origin/lore episodes for both were pretty....swift

Whats Stargate infinity? (supreme Embarrassment)

I knew SGU was gonna bomb (in my eyes) the moment they announced the hook for the series and how the formula was altered, I was really intrigued about the whole artificial structure at the "end" of the universe premise they lightly touched upon but that didn't seem to go anywhere.

liked em over all may they go down in history as a decent series back in the day, like Firefly....Firefly was sixy.

Really? The last few seasons with Mitchel were the worst. Now, I love the actor, cus he was from Farscape, but Stargate wise, I didn't like the last few seasons much at all. O'Niel made the series what it was, especially the episode about him and Teal's being stuck in a time loop.

Atlantis was ok, and Infinity was slow. So much potential lost there...
