I have been using Linux Mint 15 with Cinnamon and have to say it is not too bad. I grabbed the default one but am thinking of trying the Debian version. The website suggests advanced knowledge of dpkg and apt are required so I was wondering if anyone knows why it may be different.

I have noticed some quirks but for out of the box it just works which is nice. I do feel weird stating that though as I dislike Ubuntu and this has an Ubuntu base.
