So something I was thinking about today at work is that I know we are able to use a last name for the character you create. However.. Is it a mandatory thing? I'm not big into role-playing.. Nothing personal. Just not for me so I usually just stick to having one name. So not sure if that has been asked or answered yet but it is possible to have just your first name and not your last?

Only catch might be that ONE word names will be harder to keep unique. That is, if you want to be called Rothgar... there has to be NO other player before you who chose that name.... if you can live with "Rothgar Lightfoot" however, then you are more likely to be able to get that name.

That said, I am pretty sure I saw some one-word names in the various videos that they've put out (and some Argonian-Names-Like-This)....
