Clarification on a few questions

Post » Tue Oct 15, 2013 3:19 am

Hey guys! I apologize if these questions have been answered, but I have looked through the forums and some sites and didn't really get a solid answer. Of course I know that with the game still being tweaked that things are apt the change and the internet it full of all manner of mis-information, so I'm hoping that some of you who stay in the 'know' can help me.

1. I read an article (which I cannot find) that apparently at some point during character creation or early game that you can create a profile of sorts.. which will dictate what sort of other players you run into. A sort of play-style matching algorithm.

2. Any word of how large the world will be? I know the entirety of the world we know and love will be ripe for exploring.. but have they given us a square mile estimate? Or any sort of reference? I remember Morrow was like twice the size of Great Britain.

3. Will you be able to see, interact, or communicate with players of the opposite factions? I've read everything from sort of.. to yes... to no. Outside of PVP.. as in the open world.

4. Lastly, for the moment, have they mentioned whether we are looking at questing or skill based experience? I watched the Quakecon playthrough.. and he mentioned about shards and such which could grant skill points, but I haven't found much else.

Thanks in advance guys!

I guess I should be more specific... outside of the PVP that is.

guilds is accountbased, so you could probably chat with other factions through those channels, but meet no, at least not at launch, but who knows in a year or two
