What do you think will be a good reason to subtract DKP in ESO?
What do you think will be a good reason to subtract DKP in ESO?
Well DKP is not a direct concept or thing in an MMO, it is used by raid handlers to effectively see who has contributed and how much.
in that case (the source of the topic) i would say pulling the whole raid instance or just not do your "job" after a lot of retrys.
good thing in ESO is, if someone just fails nonstop, you can replace him easily by someone else changing his "job"
Is it bad that I do expect them to eventually retcon a dragon in an some point?
All MMO's have lore-oops eventually and this one seems like the more obvious one to happen eventually.
It's just so painfully there that I feel as if were counting down to the time where some random obscure mythical kinda-dragon that really is a dragon comes out of some time rift or such or something whenever.
I can just feel it coming.
Forgetting to roll out of bad is a 50 DKP minus!
Aww makes me somewhat sad that personalized loot will do away with funny junk like that XD oh well I guess it's for the best. Still I think it's possible with maybe guild prizes or something? Depends on if guilds have a way of generating revenue as an entity.
I can't say I would be too disappointed, I mean Death Wing was cool. I mean i know his entire existence made no sense and all, but a massive, armored dragon that's also on fire? Pssht I get to kill a dragon that's on fire!
It's like a missile launching T-Rex riding a laser shark.
P.S. That should be a Dwemer construct dungeon boss.
i am pretty sure that the loot system for raids can be converted, so the raid leader can loot all the loot if he wants. AND then distribute them.
It's just a running gag for MMO players, 50 DKP minus is like Leroy Jenkins.
>_> Somebody is grouchy.
Oh I don't doubt the effectiveness of a AI decided distribution system. Just reminiscing about silly stuff.
the funny part is that the guild actually likes him or liked.
^^
raid leader from Finland prepare to be minus 50 DKPed !
Probably a tad. Joke threads are fine, 'twould just be nice if folks actually explained themselves. Quit making me google, typing is exhausting! lol
I just can't understand why games with loot-sharing ever got so popular. I can't think of anything more odious than playing tug of war with that +50 sword of pwnage.
Here is proper explanation, young padawan. Oh great memories! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HtvIYRrgZ04
