Where to find/add friend codes:
Spoiler

Gen VI:

  • In the 3DS main menu tap the orange smiley face at the top.
  • Select your player card to view your friend code.
  • You can also register friends here. If your friend is within the range of your console's signal, you can choose local registration, scan the area and exchange information automatically. Otherwise you need to select Internet registration and enter their friend code.

Gen V:

  • Press "x" to access the menu.
  • Select "Bag"
  • Select "Key Items" in the Bag menu
  • Select "Pal Pad" under Key Items, and select "Use"
  • From here you can add friends (register friend code), check your friends and update any information (check friend roster), and view your own friend code (PLAYER's friend code)
  • http://www.youtube.com/watch?annotation_id=annotation_150568&feature=iv&src_vid=v3AxNGf_tGQ&v=gWoTg_ifZH0 (should be the same as Gen IV)

Hellmouth's Dream World Guide
Spoiler
How to access Dream World:

  • Once you get an account, start up your game and get on your character
  • Press the "Internet" button on the bottom screen, Press the giant "Game Sync" Button. Let the game save and connect to the Nintendo Wi-fi
  • Tuck in a pokemon of your choosing (for those with B2/W2, the pokemon type will influence aspects of the Dream World)
  • After you pokemon has been tucked in, log in at the http://pokemon-gl.com and select "Pokemon Dream World"
  • BIG NOTE!: You can only play for an hour per game (so if you have White and White2, you can play on the White card and then play the White 2 card). You can, however, delay being thrown out immediately by selecting "continue playing" on the bottom of the menu. Use this if you're finishing up Island of Dreams, the mini game section, to get a pokemon you find, along with other loose ends.

Once inside Dream World

  • This is where you'll be growing berries, building a dream house and [censored]. http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Dream_World has a pretty good guide on it.
  • You can become Dream Pals with those you trade with, or just randomly finding people in Dream World. This is mostly so that you can help your friends by watering the garden, and get them to go to your Join Avenue.
  • You can get pokemon here and bring them into your game by going to "The Island of Dreams." The pokemon you tucked in WILL influence the mini-game area you go to in order to gain points and get Dream World pokemon (B2/W2 only). Most areas will be locked, and remain that way till you get a certain amount of points. The Bulbapedia link above will give you the specific. To capture dream pokemon, go to the "Island of Dreams" play all the minigames and so on. In addition, pokemon you play minigames with will be transferable, but if you don't play the minigame, you cannot. When you feel finished, make a wish at the tree at the very end of the Island of Dreams by sacrificing 1 berry. Once you have done this, all you need to do is hit the power button on the top right screen, and select the "prepare to wake up and leave DW."
  • To send items you find in dream world, access your treasure box inside your home, and press "send" on the items you want to send.

How to acquire Dream World items and Pokemon

  • After you're done with Dream World on your computer, go back to your game, and repeat steps 1-4 on the "How to access Dream World" guide. This will wake your pokemon up, put it back in its box, and materialize items and pokemon you got from Dream World
  • Get back to the game and press "Wireless" on the bottom screen
  • Press "Entralink" and you'll warp to the Entralink
  • Go north in the area. You'll see a girl in a white dress next to a forest entrance, and a boy (if you received items from Dream World). Enter the forest and you'll see pokemon you received from Dream World. Interact with it and it'll "Battle" with you. You'll notice you have no pokemon or anything, just a bag and the option to run away. Press "Bag" and select "Dream Ball." You will instantly capture the pokemon, and it'll be sent to your box. Dream world pokemon have different abilities than in-game pokemon, and these abilities have a 40% chance to transfer to offspring, only if the pokemon is female.

I think I added everyone from the previous thread to the friend code list, but let me know if I missed you.

Just noticed an error in the OP that was in fact carried over from the previous thread which also had the error. My name in the steam codes is written as "Ellery0" instead of "Ellert0". Not that it matters much as long as the code is correct. :P

I finally got to play my copy of X on my nephew's 3DS.

There are soooooo many Pokemon in the forest alone (even if some were those craptastic monkeys).

I got me:

Tarkus/Chespin (M) Lvl.9

Spewpa (M) Lvl.7

Mr. Chips/Pikachu (M) Lvl. 4

Torchic (M) Lvl.10

+Several other Pokes in the PC.

I wish I didn't suddenly go broke the day I was going to go get a replacement 3DS. (On the other hand I'm glad I didn't go out immediately to go buy it...)
*sighs* I guess I will be able to play whenever I want in another week or two.

EDIT: Maybe I should reference the OP more often. Okay then, here is my friend code: 0318-6726-4444

I'm still slightly wary about whether or not I'm compromising my identity, but I'm sure that somewhere on the Internet is a way to find my real name anyway, so I don't care as much anymore. I'm going to add everyone that sounds like they have access to the Safari Zone (So, everyone :P).

I'm playing Y, by the way.

Rosveen, you can totally remove the Dream World guide, as that [censored] got taken down.

It's just to know which game everyone has. As of now, there is no in-game code, just the 3DS code.

FYI: ATTENTION! There is a patch that one can download from the eStore to patch the save errors that occur in the big city Paris place. Download it asap.

Nice, I'm going to download now. :)

I've edited my post accordingly. I've also added you, Mirglof, Gamgee, Rosveen, BTCollins, Klawed and MerchantMudCrab, as I think you are all at post-game? If anyone else has access to the Safari Zone, let me know and I'll add you. :)

Oh no, I am definitely not post-game. But here's the thing, you'll get mon from people on your friend list, but it's when they're at post game does the 3rd mon appear. So, add everyone that you can.

Also, to help everyone out know who I am, my Pokemon Y character's name is "Betts"

Oh. I actually thought that the Safari was close to post-game, and that you were at post-game. Sorry about that, but I will add everyone (Just added everyone). :)

My character's name is Ophelia, for everyone who cares.

EDIT: I read something this morning about Game Freak potentially adding more new Pokémon in future DLC. Any truth to this?

I wish they would add region expansion(s) in DLC or something.

Prolly something to do with that statue that you get from the guy who is supposedly from a new unexplored region(or at least not any of the regions from the main games).

I would also love them to do something like that. Maybe the rest of PokeFrance a la Gold/Silver? A bunch of the new Pokemon were only catchable in Kanto for whatever reason, so I could see that happening.

Though didn't Gamefreak say they were against paid DLC?

In other news, I beat my Pikachu on Amie and now I feel like a scumbag. :(
I gave it extra treats and played more minigames as an apology.
