Happy birthday to me :D

So today's my 18th birthday, and I'm really looking forward to all the stuff planned :) 12 friends are coming to mine for a bonfire and some alchomohols, and then I'll be going shopping with the treasure troves of money I got off friends and family :D

From my parents, I got a tin box. And inside it was £400 cash, and I was completely blown away! We're not the richest family in the world, but we've managed to flourish with what we have, managing to get a nice big TV for each family member by saving for ages. Y'know, stuff like that.

This money is intended for a computer, but I can get whatever I want, I spose. But of course, I want a computer for Elder Scrolls Online! I then also got £80 from my aunt and grandma, and apparently I should be expecting more from friends and family in the coming days.

So tonight I'm going to enjoy a good night with some good friends, and then tomorrow start looking for a nice PC :) I intend on building my own (well, making a friend build my own) and could do with some suggestions for good components. My max spend on this will be about 400-450 squid in the first place, with some other crap getting thrown on with extra cash.

Also, I'm a Game of Thrones and Halo fan, got any ideas on any memorabilia and such that an avid fan of either might like? ;)

I was going to get this a while back as a birthday present for a friend.

Good you got so much money. Can't even remember what I got for my 18th, wasn't much given my large dysfunctional family :P

Your cash gift is about half my monthly salary. Does that make you feel richer? :hehe:

Nah, in all seriousness though, that's really nice of your family. Sorry I can't offer suggestions on the PC, but just saying happy birthday! :)

Happy Birthday man!

The only thing I got on my 18th birthday, was getting my BC driving licence paid by my folks. Given how much said licence costs around here, I really couldn't ask for anything else.
