New to PC. What mods should I get?

Post » Thu Oct 31, 2013 5:16 pm

I've played the game inside and out now on 360 and have bought a PC for Elder Scrolls Online and other games. I want to finally mod my game to get more out of it. I hear a lot about unofficial patches which sound awesome, but I'm also interested in extra content like weapons, armours, quests, locations etc. to develop my characters.

So what should I get?

The http://afkmods.iguanadons.net/index.php?app=core&module=search&do=user_activity&sid=ee257536f11e6a264ffc05d5d5e6bf89&mid=4&search_app=downloads&userMode=all&search_app_filters%5Bdownloads%5D%5BsearchInKey%5D=files&search_app_filters%5Bdownloads%5D%5Bfiles%5D%5BsortKey%5D=downloads&search_app_filters%5Bdownloads%5D%5Bfiles%5D%5BsortDir%5D= for sure. They fix a massive amount of issues that Bethesda has failed to address. Some of the fixes included are for bugs that are potentially immersion and/or game breaking, such as weapons, shields, and ash piles not cleaning up and a recent fix for animals and creatures not respawning properly in the wilderness.

These mods are great for players who get tired of dragons and/or vampires killing off the townsfolk:

All I've used so far are the unofficial patches. I've never felt the need or desire to use the other mods so far.

The Unofficial Patches, but aside from that more information is needed, what do you want?

My situation is similar to yours, I just bought it for PC after mastering the Xbox. I've only had it on PC about a week and so far I've just downloaded mods that catch my eye on steam. Such as Bosmer Armor pack, Hunter's Cabin, Backpack, and Sapphire marraige mod (Because we would all be lying if we said Sapphire would make an any less than badass wife). I'm also looking into the Unbound mod, allowing you to create a non-Dragonborn character.

Lol apologies, if you want Locations http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/37994/? is a good bet to head for, also http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/9782/?, hefty hitters with plenty of space and content to keep you busy, weapons are a dime a dozen and theirs plenty to pick out.

http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/39870/? if that fits your fancy

http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/27644/? nice, I use it, luv it.

http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/44179/? Brings back the style of weapons in previous games and adds them to the leveled list

http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/8429/? for that Character interaction/RP boon.

http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/19733/? for more armor styles.

give em a look to see if you like
