[IDEA] Death & Disease

Hey guys wasn't going to make a thread for a while but decided to get some feedback and input from the community on my idea.


Description

Death & Disease

Nobody in Skyrim seems to get sick. Nobody develops illnesses, contracts and passes on diseases, and more importantly nobody simply dies.

Death & Disease is a mod that adds a host of ways that NPC's can catch and spread diseases, develop an illness, and even die; either of old age or illness.

The mechanics will be fairly simple and will involve the use of quests and spells. The idea is over time NPC's can contract illnesses, spread them, and even die from old age or heart attacks etc. There will even be a chance of spontaneous combustion ;)

What's the general feel of this idea? I have the basic workings on the system on paper and it is feasible, and i think something that adds a little spice and more realism to the game.

Thoughts? :)

There's certainly a gap available for such a mod - Realistic Needs and Diseases doesn't come anywhere close.

Are you taking inspiration from Shademe's similar Oblivion mod Vector (http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/25835)?

Nope lol i got the idea from looking at how old some NPC's look and thought we have different ages, but no aging.

As soon as I looked at the title I was thinking of this. It's definitely something that could add immersion.
