Didn't see an existing thread for this.

New art for the Ogrim, I think this is a massive improvement to the original version, it looks much sharper and scarier now.

Thoughts?

Still doesn't have four nipbles like in Morrowind :P

... but wow, they really improved it a lot.

Quite astonished they went back and changed it that much, presumably based on our feedback. Such a fine team working on the next TES.

I, honestly, didn't have that much of an issue with the original Ogrim. But, damn if that thing isn't a million times better looking now. I wouldn't want to ever see one of those things in Tamriel.

And people think that ZOS was only going to make a cartoonish game...pfft.

I would not want to meet one of those things in a dark alley of Cyrodiil O.o.

Wow. So much respect for ZOS right now. They've gone from troll/Jynx hybrid to legitimately fearsome monster.

Yep, yup, yap. That's how it's supposed to look. Not only am I happy to see it change for the far better- but it's also nice to be reminded of how the developers listen to us. I mean the Ogrim wasn't even the most heated discussion when it was shown- if I remember it right I only saw some people mention it didn't look like in Morrowind or it looked too cartoonish, yet they still changed it drastically. Mighty fine!

My post on the first Ogrim thread:

Seems like they did all of those things (narrow eyes, smaller lips, down turned mouth) and much more (muted colors, larger spikes, less clothing, better textures.)

Man these guys are good at listening to feedback. Even if it wasn't my particular post that made the difference, I'm glad they made the changes.

Now I just hope to see a few changes on the Kwama. :)

This isn't the next TES.

The next TES is being developed by Bethesda.

This is just TESO :mage:
