EA does it again...

Some are calling this a hoax on their part and a lawsuit is likely forthcoming.

Why do Sony and Microsoft even make console versions with such tiny hard drive sizes, when some games have a mandatory install? GTA V was the same way, wasn't it?

Eh. I'd lay this one on MS, personally. Just for even making a 4GB Xbox to begin with - a trap to get people to have to buy an expansion hard drive (at high cost since it's proprietary) once they discover they have a semi-useless system.

Rockstar allows you to put the mandatory install on a USB drive like every other game that requires one. EA has made a hard drive required for Battlefield 4.

Their response was that they said it was mandatory on twitter.........how many of their customers follow them on twitter or even use twitter lol?

Well that svcks. Especially since the 360 uses expensive proprietary HDDs.

At Least EA's allowing Returns/Refunds. That's a first.

They have "harddrive required" on the box, which means they won't lose a law suit.

Best way to avoid this----don't buy a 4 GB 360! Simple as that :D. I'll probably get BF 4 on the PS4 as well as a few games when the time comes ^_^.

because games couldn't have mandatory installs on 360 until extremely recently. it's kind of the price you pay for holding onto hardware from 2005 for almost ten years.
