Skills and controll

How will the camera rotation controll work on ESO? Will it be like in single player ES games where there is no mouse cursor and when you move the mouse the camera moves?

If yes, then players that have gaming hardware (razer naga for example) will have a masive advantage to others, especially when it comes to pvp and skill usage. (6 skills and a weapon swap)

yeah, from the quakecon video that is what it seems like how it works, and the razer naga, etc ALWAYS give players only a slight advantage when it comes to response time no matter what game it is. It will b

Yeah it does, but here we are talking about a massive advantage. Sure it's easier in other games to use a razer naga, but there is always the option of "clicking both mouse buttons" to make your character move, while using 1,2,3 from your keyboard. I can't imagine how someone will be able to move perfectly while using 6-7 skills on a game that has controll like ES single player games..

Not really, the only advantage truthfully is that you do not stretch your hand as much which is why i said only SLIGHT advantage. DCUO uses the same camera and skill mechanics as ESO will and people use normal keyboards (and controllers) just fine.

I use a Logitech G700 and i dont think people with Razer Naga will have an advantage vs me in pvp. What is good with mmo mouse is that you have some more buttons on it ,but all players have access to buy those kind of mouses..

Not seeing the difference really. You still use keyboard for forward and back plus all your other keybinds, regardless of control scheme.

Only ones I see that will be at a big disadvantage at least at first will be clickers. With the mouse being locked to the camera/aim they will have no choice but to learn how to keybind.

Clickers have almost always been at a disadvantage anyway.

Yeah. Just saying though in ESO it won't be just a disadvantage, it'll be a case where you won't even be able to be a clicker anymore. If you don't keybind then you'll only have your default mouse attacks to use. At lvl 1 that may be ok but at lvl 50 lol not so much.

I have never actually played on PC before so I'll probably just see if I can hook a controller to it. It'd be cheaper than getting a proper keyboard and mouse

i'm pretty sure i can easily control my character in this game. i got some [censored] microsoft mouse which has 2 buttons on thumb side and i'm confident using it.

I have a razer naga, and i can tell you it only provides a good advantage with games like WoW cause you have 40 abilities you can use and you can easily bind them all on your naga (using alt/ctrl and shift) so you mainly focus on your deplacements while your thumbs and left pinky do all the work.

Otherwise, in games with few keybinding (like any moba) it doesn't provides you any advantage at all, unless you need to do a key combination really fast with a perfect timing, as an exemple, alistar in league of legends requires you to use ur ''w'' abilitie and from 0.40 to 0.60secs use your Q, the naga can give you a 99% success with their macros. That's right, you can set the mouse to use W, wait 0.5secs, then use Q. Which gives you an insane advantage but these kinds of things are unlikely to happen in ESO.

In ESO, the only difference will probably be than the naga user won't ever move his left hand and set all his abilities on the mouse, while the ''standard'' mouse users will have to stop deplacements from 0 to 0.5seconds to use their abilities. that's very negligible
