Returning Food Products?

Simple question... Can a person return a food product back if that said person had a small portion of it and gotten sick from it?

I'm asking cause we recently got two 12-packs of cola (Not Coca-Cola. Talking about the cheaper cola) and right away I notice that they taste odd/strange and even left an extremely nasty after taste... Though I was told I'm just not 'use to it', as we had Pepsi for awhile... But thing is, after drinking this cola for a day I had gotten a major headache, sick, and was having troubles using the restroom... So I knew something was up since this basicly never happened with well any kind of pop really... (Except Diet)...

The cola is obviously not diet but I am assuming that the makers must've made a mistake or ran out of some sort of ingredient which caused this issue in the first place... And I was wondering if I can maybe return said cola to get new packs? (And hope that the whole stock of them isn't "bad").

I don't think so. If it got you sick, I don't think they'd want anything to do with it.

A while ago my parents bought a bag of chips and they were all moldy inside, and then sent the bag to http://www.olw.se/ and complained. As a result they got a bunch of free chips in return. I think they tossed it away though, and will probably never buy anything from that company again.
