Just wondering if anyone here has gotten a hands on with this game at all? I want to know if it is good. Since MS wont allow any reviews for it to go out until the 21st I can't rely on that. I have heard people say it was amazing fun and the controls where great, then I have heard people say it is complete [censored] and it is like watching paint dry. I have seen some gameplay and it looks fun but I know there is a huge difference between what a dev will show you and the final game.

Absolutely. Shame reviewers did not take consideration of those who actually enjoy such an activity. Critics these days.

I respected Crytek as a company when they created Far Cry and Crysis 1, but with Crysis 2 and onwards this company has become almost decadent. I still admire Crytek progressive attitude towards graphic technology, but that folks, won't make a game better. A good example is this Ryse Son of Rome. I don't know, I see Crytek company as gimmicky and shallow as the creators of CoD. Yes, I'll sound cliche when I say this, but I feel they care more about profits than the actual game and their fans. I think Crytek has become the perfect party for EA or MS. They are not only on the same page but they seem to understand each other perfectly well too.

Looks like what you'd get if Michael Bay was to direct in a Rome setting. So exaggerated and QTE-esque. The game is visually nice, I'll give it that, but it doesn't look very engaging. My inner history nerd doesn't like historical inaccuracies and creative license, so bias.

It's pretty laughable the game is 900p and 30 FPS on a so called next gen system.It seems to lowest common denominator title falls squarely on the Xbox One.

Crytek needs to start thinking about how to make good gameplay again, and forget about the cutting edge graphics crap.

Hey guys... I think we should give this game a change -.- None of you have played it, so you don't know if it is bad. The Xbox One looks pretty cool to me.

I loooove stuff from this time period but I don't feel like doing seventeen quick time events just to fight a single opponent.

That seems a bit premature especially since it hasn't even [censored] came out yet. I have no love for the Xbox One, but I'm not going to just hate on it just to hate, that's silly.

Far from hating for the sake of hating.Microsoft has labelled this thing as a next gen system,not hitting 1080p confirms it isn't.

Well i may win an Xbox One with a Ryse game in it. Although my chances are minimal to do so. Did the everytwominutes.com thing. If I win that thing I will play the game and inform my opinion before I sell the thing to offset the costs of my Playstation 4, unless I keep it for exclusives. Although the only one I can think looks interesting is Halo. I will let people know how it goes IF I win lol.
