Post » Thu Nov 21, 2013 8:54 am

2-3 ??

says 175 ml (3/4 cup) water

250 (1 cup) mix

useing a levelled dry measure

im alone and feel liek eating pancakes i definitely dont feel like making 6-7 of them though also i dont think the mix would keep terribly well in the fridge and even if it did there isnt any space

Make all the pancakes and put the rest in a zip lock bag and put them in the fridge. Make PB&J sammiches for a snack with the other left over pancakes. Pretty simple really.

Now I want pancakes.

Yes, but it would just be easier to make all of them, so do that.

Well, you could always apply that amazing invention Math?, and halve the recipe. (Which would make 3-4 rather than 6-7. Still more than you want, but only by 1.)

i.e, 3/8 cup of water (partway between the 1/4 and 1/2 on your measuring cup); 1/2 a cup of mix; etc.

some brands of pancake mixes includes egg, so it's not that simple

if thats the kind epicfail is talking about then i'd recommend mixing up the whole batch and left the extra pancake mix in a sealed container in the fridge, if he doesn't want to leave cooked pancakes in the fridge

Damn you guys, damn you!

Anyway, what's a levelled dry measure? Can't you just make a couple of pancakes and put the rest of the mixture into the fridge? :P

Just make the entire batch and put whatever you don't use in the fridge...or freezer. Really EF...it's pancakes not nuclear science. If there's no room in the fridge for a container of mix then either make room (ie: throw other stuff that's been in there a while out) or make the pancakes and put them in a bag and put then in a small area. Or hell, do what my wife does, put them in a bag and then put them in the drawer with the bread. Pancakes are virtually cake so they don't need to be chilled after being made. They'll keep sitting in a zip lock in the bread drawer or on the counter for a few days.
