Something about abilities ?!

Post » Thu Nov 21, 2013 10:47 am

I know we can have 6 max abilities on the bar ,but what about the ultimate ? it will be 6 +1 slots or just 6.

And i see some active abilities for armors ,can we put them in the normal 6 ability bar or we are given one more slot ?

And what about switching a new bar (that you get at lvl 15 ) on the run ? That will give us of total 12 slots for our abilities ,sound really nice

And passives abilities, once you learn them they add the bonuses to you , no slots for passives ( for people that dont know)

I am not 100% sure but I -think- it's six and an ultimate... could be wrong, and it's five and an ultimate. Whatever it is, that's what we'll have to deal with; I don't see them increasing the total.

As for the armor... I wasn't aware there were ACTIVE skills for them (but then haven't looked very hard) but if there are, I would assume that they are treated just like any class or weapon skill, and have to compete with other skills for one of the limited active skill slots. Just like, if you join the mage's guild and the fighter's guild and (eventually) the thieves guild... you don't get any extra active ability slots --- you just get more choices for what you can place in the same, fixed number of slots.

You can pull your actives from all the ability trees so the armor one would just fill one of the normal slots.

Don't quote me but I believe it's 5+1 ultimate.

Also you have the ability to hotswap during combat to your second loadout, so you can have in effect 10 abilities and 2 ultimates viably available split between your 2 different weapon choices.

5 actives, 1 ultimate. Those actives can be from any of your trees, whether armor, weapons, classes, or any other skill tree.

You will indeed unlock a second weapon slot at level 15, complete with its own hotbar.

Also, for the record, passives are not slotted. They are always active.

Hmm i dont really understand ...so in a fight you can swap the active ability bars ? And this way it will be very simple to have 10 normals + 2 Ultimates ?

What about the second weapon slot ? Can you be more specific ,because i may wana chose only a 2 hand weapon or a pair of double wielding knifes ?

So at level 15 another bar will be available to put abilities on ,and be fast switchable with the main one in the fight ...

could someone also clarify how the passive abilities work, how many slots do they get? or can we get all passives at the same time?

Passives once you learn them they add the bonuses to you , no slots for passives , so in short words you can have how many passive you could get ,because you will have the benefits on you from all

Yes, each ability bar will be tied to one of the 2 weapon slots, whichever weapon you have out, you will be able to use that ability bar.

A quick swap of weapons....it could be to a second 2 hander if you wanted, or any other weapon combo you want.....and you have your second ability bar up that is tied to that weapon.

It CANNOT be the same weapon for both loadouts though, you would need 2 seperate two handers if you wanted to go all 2 hander.

Hmm that will force me to get two ( 2 bows or 2 pair of wielding axes) much of the same quality if i wana use more things from the same kind of weapon attacks maybe..

could also loadout your non weapon specific active abilities to the second loadout....it will be interesting to see just how many different combination types are viable with this type system.

Remember also the 2 hand weapon tree only has 5 actives.

Yeah i think i understand , the class specific abilities will be available to be put in both layout bars , but in the same time these bars will be locked to what weapon each use . So if i use double wielding swords 2 times , the bars will allow me to put in both double wielding specific abilities , but if I will use a bow for the second layout bar ,then in that bar i will can add only bow abilities

Correct....and also your guild specific(I'm going to assume you will go fighters guild)...are available for both bars.

there are a lot more skills to chose from than you can use....so what you are going to fill your loadouts with is going to be real important to your specific build and play strategy.
