zone chat

So reading zone chat, one of the constant comments that came up was that ESO is a good game but it seemed a lot, obviously not all, but a lot of people felt it was going to end up F2P. I was thinking about this. ESO is fun, I like it, I'll buy the collectors edition I'm sure. The game though doesn't seem to add anything to the table over other games, nothing less, but nothing more. So will it draw enough players to keep the pay model, I assume they're banking on all the Elder Scroll players wanting to play ESO and MMO players who are disenfranchised with WoW. The other games on the market are F2P for a reason other then GW2 which obviously is intentionally F2P. So will ESO stay in a pay model? I think this is an interesting question.

This thread had nothing to do with the awful idea that is "zone chat". You got my hopes up just to have another payment model thread.

We currently are not allowing threads about the payment plan.
When we get closer to release, the Official Payment plan thread will re-open.

Also, no discussion of the Beta is allowed here.
