Well I did it. I pre-ordered ESO. Now I will have to start a new budget, for 2014. I just hope i don't regret it. We'll just have to see.

I've never understood pre-ordering something that will be a digital download....I suppose sometimes you get a little gimmick item for it

I usually download games for PC, like 99.9% of the time, but I'm considering buying a hard copy depending on if theres a collectors edition and what's in it.

Since i solely play on a PC it's more of a collector's item than anything. Still cost the same though. As for pre-ordering games in and of itself I have only been burned once and that was when I purchased Dragon Age 2. What a flop that was. ESO on the other hand appears to have great potential and this is coming from someone who is not really a fan of MMORPG games. So, this is something new for me. That's why I mentioned that I hope i don't regret wasting $70; shipping included.

I pre-ordered mine back in August from Amazon. Funny though, the game comes out in Spring 2014, but the release date at Amazon is December 31st. Go figure, but I have never had any problem with them on any of my orders. It will be here when it gets here.

Yeah, I will likely not get the CE but I'm waiting for announcements of Lifetime Subs and Pre-Order bonuses before I pay for the game.

TES is the only series I buy CEs for. Except the SWG CE, I got that one cuz it was well worth it. Not gonna miss out on this one, hehe!

I may have a lot of problems with the game's design here and there, but I am an absolute svcker for TES. Hopefully they're not counting on too many like me...hehe!

I'll be getting it on PS4. But I want to wait to see what's out there. Like little extra's should there be multiple versions.

I never ever pre-order until the Publisher announces the list of retailers. And I usually go digital direct from publisher/devhouse these days anyway.

I suppose it is a way to budget for people but I cant see going ahead with it when the earliest possible release is still four months off. More likely six. That's quite a stretch and I don't really see any benefit.
