Just an idea.
The goal is to have PvP area crowded so there are big squads, but who wants PvE to be crowded?
The idea is actually simple - instead of one slice make say 5 slices all assigned to one campaign.
Switching slices could be much simpler then switching campaign, also such group of tightly grouped slices could have different rules - there should be slice clusters introduced:
- Slices could be dynamically added to cluster when PvE population grows (for example when two big guilds merge).
- The cluster of slices could have shared communication channel, so one guild could easily be spread on few slices and still communicate easily
- The cluster would have also shared public channel so all could communicate easily and have some social stability
- Switching slices would be free at any moment with no cost, just by selecting player from char we could also select switch to his slice.
- It would be cluster that is assigned to PvP campaign
So in this way we would achieve less crowdy PvE area with almost same communication freedom and still PvP battle persistent
