I really liked the idea of the elder scrolls online.

im pretty sure its gonna cost and not gonna be free.

so my question is:

i need to have all of the elder scrolls game to play the online? or just one game?

and how much is the online gonna cost?

$60 for the game, $15 monthly after the first month.

Edit: If you are in the US, everywhere else it will be whatever equivalent it is there.....We are paying $90 for the box here in Australia

You don't have to buy any of the other Elder Scroll games. Those are single player games made by Bethesda.

You will have to buy Elder Scrolls Online, made by Zenimax Online Studio; probably $60.00 USD, and pay for a subscription after the first free month, about $15.00. There isn't any information available yet as to whether there is a discount if you buy more than a month or anything like that.

dont think it 100% confirmd that it will be 15/month it could be 15, 12 or 9 per month to. but still to mutch but annyway i'm gone buy this game from day 1, i just LOVE Tes games

They already gave the base price ($15, equivalent prices in other denominations), but they haven't gone into detail about box price or bulk monthly rates yet.

Just to be clear $60 is the basic game edition. You will also have 1 or 2 collector editions. In most cases that I know of, the second collectors edition is retail only as it comes with stuff like a cloth map, collector figure, and so on. The first collectors edition generally has in game item or two and maybe a special title such as founder. The basic game edition you get just that the game only.. The first collector edition can cost around $75 or $80 while the second collector edition can cost upwards of $120 or more.

The $15 monthly subscription is just an estimate and is average of what most new games charge. The actual subscription could actually be $17 or more but I would guess not less than the $15. I say maybe even $17 is possible since monthly subscription prices has risen before. Early subscription prices was around $12 in the past. So going up another couple dollars is not impossible.

There will be some kind of discount in the monthly fees if one pays for a few months at a time.
