I pick colours based on political parties but that doesn't work well for chess at least in the UK.
In most games I have to be red. Everyone gives into me because they know after a few glasses of wine I'll move the red pieces anyway
As much as this thread seems to be a bait thread, what I am goin to post is answering hte question.
I choose White, as White goes first. Plus, I generally win more often when playing White.
Crystal Clear. (I prefer Glass Chess where one set is Crystal Clear and the other is Foggy).
